With the launch of our first website in October of 2012, we committed to giving back 25% of the revenue from each BowTie sold to its respective charity.
We began the year being featured in the NFL Gift Lounge at Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. TV personalities like Guy Fieri and famed NFL players like Shannon Sharpe took the opportunity to learn about BowTie Cause, our mission, and learned how to tie a BowTie!
In September, we launched our BowTie Foundation and celebrated it with the first annual Galloping Pig polo event. BowTie Foundation fosters the personal development of underprivileged youth through outreach programs and grants. Attendees took in a fantastic match between the Cincinnati and Columbus polo clubs, with Cincinnati coming out victorious!
In 2013, we saw the addition of 23 new partner organizations, raising the number of Signature BowTie designs we’ve created to 132! As of today, our total BowTies sold is over 20,000. 2014 is looking to be another exciting year for us. Now, we have a new logo and website for BowTie Cause. As we have spent the past three years helping tell your stories, we wanted the BowTie symbol to become a better representation of all of the organizations we partner with.
