BowTie Cause

Today marks 13 years of remission for the BowTie Cause Chief Inspiration Officer, Kunta Littlejohn.  I can’t imagine hearing the word “remission”, but I’m happy that Kunta heard that word and is still cancer free, which makes January 30th, 2013 as an official start to the BowTie Cause New Year.

It’s been quite the experience since beginning in May 2010, but it was summed up this past Saturday for the two friends that share the BowTie story.

The two guys behind the BowTies got to share some quality time at the Ulman Cancer Fund 15-year anniversary.  And what better way to share time than at the “Blue Jeans and BowTies Ball”.  Nothing like a BowTie ice luge!

As we begin 2013, we continue to challenge each other in regards to making a positive impact.  We always want to add value, which was the impetus to begin BowTie Cause in the first place.

So our wish for the New Year is no different than the beginning…we hope to add value not only to partnering organizations, but to people that embrace their stories, their challenges, and their triumphs.  We want to make a positive impact while using BowTies to bind us all together in that quest.

Happy New Year from all of us at BowTie Cause.
