St. Xavier High School is dedicated to assisting young men in their formation as leaders and men for others through rigorous college preparation in the Jesuit tradition. In the spirit of social justice, St. Xavier created its retention program to assist non traditional students in their formation by providing them with an opportunity to reach their full potential in the areas of academic, social, spiritual and personal development.

Proceeds from the sale of the St. X bow ties support students in the retention program. The subtle X in the pattern of the tie reflects the school’s Long Blue Line tradition, while the geometric, contemporary design reflects the Jesuit approach to leading within complex, changing environments. In addition to supporting St. X, the bow tie stimulates both awareness and conversation for the cause.
