In 1971, Cancer Family Care opened its doors to provide therapeutic counseling, education, support, and hope to all people touched by cancer. For over forty years, Cancer Family Care has been known throughout the Greater Cincinnati region as a force of compassion and strength in the face of cancer-related illness and loss.
Much like how a BowTie makes a statement in a crowd, Cancer Family Care continues to make its charge clear to those living with cancer: Improving life. Empowering lives. Making difficult times easier.
Close to 12 million Americans are currently living with, through, or beyond cancer. And more than 15,000 will be diagnosed with the disease this year in the Greater Cincinnati region alone. More and more people will recognize the importance of closing the gap between medical and whole-patient cancer care. The good news is that, here in Greater Cincinnati, that is the heart of what Cancer Family Care does. Early detection, treatment and support from organizations such as Cancer Family Care prove to make the journey less daunting.
