Children’s Tumor Foundation – Cleveland Cavaliers

Nick Gilbert is the son of Cleveland Cavaliers Chairman and Majority Owner, Dan Gilbert. Nick has rocked a BowTie the last few years as he represented the Cavaliers at the NBA Draft Lottery.

Nick was born with Neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic disorder of the nervous system. He has successfully and courageously beat the odds and battled the disease his entire life.

Nick served as the 2011 National Children’s Tumor Foundation Ambassador and helped raise more than $100,000 for the cause, including a match by Dan Gilbert.

The BowTie was designed with the Cavaliers organization, furthering the success of the Cavaliers’ Legacy Project at the Children’s Hospital for Rehabilitation where the team previously built outdoor basketball courts.

With the purchase of a BowTie, you are not only raising awareness, but $10 will be donated to the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
