Every year, as a nation, we fail to identify more than one million children, all under the age of five, who have a disability or are at risk for developmental delays. Programs that diagnose and treat these children as early as possible are chronically underfunded. As the largest provider of early intervention services, Easter Seals staff, therapists, and families know what’s possible when kids get the support they need during the first few years of life and also what happens when they don’t.
