The Galloping Pig is an annual polo match for charity, hosted by BowTie Cause Founder, Dhani Jones, and his nonprofit, the BowTie Foundation.
Annually, nearly 600 people attend the Galloping Pig and enjoy traditional polo matches, divot stomping, live music, food, and more.
Over the course of its run, the Galloping Pig has partnered with several nonprofits in the Cincinnati area including, but not limited to Cincinnati Art Museum, Breakthrough Cincinnati, SOTENI International, the University of Cincinnati Gen-1 Theme House & Program, and Friars Club.
Established by Jones in 2013, the BowTie Foundation is a charitable and educational organization, which fosters the personal development and growth of underprivileged youth through different outreach programs and grants.
The BowTie Foundation began the annual tradition of hosting the Galloping Pig to combine the efforts of different nonprofits so that funds and awareness could be raised for underprivileged youth in the Cincinnati area. With polo’s extensive history in Cincinnati, Jones and the BowTie Foundation team found hosting a match to be a unique, creative way of generating funds for local organizations.
With your purchase of a BowTie, you are not only raising awareness, but $10 will be donated to the BowTie Foundation.
