The Cincinnati Shake Up for Parkinson’s is a special collaboration between the Brian Grant Foundation and University of Cincinnati Gardner Center for Parkinson’s Disease and Movement disorders.
The signature BowTie was designed with the chemical formula for dopamine.
Cerebral dopamine depletion is the hallmark of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Therefore, the BowTie design embraces the notion that an abundance of dopamine is the opposite of depletion, and through design, combats Parkinson’s Disease while providing an avenue for conversation.
25% of the revenue from the sale of each BowTie benefits the Gardner Family Center for Parkinson’s Disease.
