JDRF is the largest nonprofit funder of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research in the world. Their goal is to eventually cure and prevent T1D entirely.
JDRF is proud to have been the first nonprofit to partner with BowTie Cause.
This first generation JDRF BowTie was designed by the son of Fernando Aguirre, then president/CEO of Chiquita Brands International, who has Juvenile Diabetes. It symbolizes the ups and downs of Juvenile Diabetes and incorporates the official colors of JDRF.
