Cincinnati’s Music Hall, one of the largest concert halls in the country, was built in 1878 to provide a permanent home for the annual Cincinnati May Festivals.
Founded in 1873, Cincinnati’s May Festival is the oldest, and one of the most prestigious, choral festivals in the Western hemisphere.
Today, in addition to the May Festival, Music Hall is the home of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Ballet, and Cincinnati Opera.
The Society for the Preservation of Music Hall (SPMH) was founded to provide ongoing financial and volunteer support toward maintaining and improving the Music Hall facilities. Music Hall is designated a National Historic Landmark.
The design of the BowTie features an interlocking pattern of Music Hall’s iconic rose window.
With your purchase of a BowTie, you are not only raising awareness, but $10 will be donated to the May Festival.
