Sigma Phi Epsilon – Michigan Alpha Chapter

Founded in 1912, the Michigan Alpha Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has had a distinguished history at the University of Michigan. The men of Michigan Alpha have won three out of the last four IFC Fraternity of the Year awards, more intramural championships than any other fraternity, and currently number as the largest fraternity on campus with 122 members. These men of Sigma Phi Epsilon are dedicated to living their fraternity’s core values of Virtue, Diligence, Brotherly Love, Sound Mind, and Sound Body in their everyday lives. Known on campus as the “Gentlemanly Fraternity,” the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon distinguish themselves from the crowd through leadership in and out of the classroom, innovative initiative, resourceful networking, conscious self-representation and diverse philanthropic endeavors. Our Brothers stand out in the Michigan Greek Life community by consistently out-performing the competition in recruitment, philanthropy, member development, and programming and by defying common fraternity stereotypes.

25% of the revenue from the sale of each BowTie benefits Sigma Phi Epsilon’s partnership with The St. Baldrick’s Foundation for pediatric cancer and International Coalition of College Philanthropists (ICCP).
