Sitting in the balcony at church, Steve Frisch heard very clearly that he “didn’t need to know all of the answers, he just needed to share his idea with someone.” That prompting led to a conversation with 12 people where he shared a vision of a collaborative model that could provide support and awareness for Cincinnati’s charitable community. He believed that if we each did the little things that we individually loved to do (for Steve, this was performing music), and we did these things together with purpose, we could make a positive impacts in our city. The result of that prompting and subsequent conversation is a 100% volunteer organization that has raised over $1.5 million in support of more than 200 local charities in 5 years.
