Description
In the U.S., approximately 200 people are diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) each week and there are over 2.5 million individuals affected worldwide.
Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The severity and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.
The Multiple Sclerosis Society envisions a world free of MS. As an organization, they mobilize people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.
The design of the BowTie represents a cross section of many healthy myelin sheaths to promote the idea that a cure is imminent.
With your purchase of a BowTie, you are not only raising awareness, but $10 will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
